Blackout Theatre Company is a not for profit community theatre company based in Western Sydney, originally formed in the year 2000 under the name of Blacktown City Community Theatre.
From our humble beginnings 21 years ago with a Short Play season performed in a backyard, Blackout has grown to produce full scale musicals, plays, cabarets and concerts in theatres all around Sydney including; The Joan (Penrith), Monkey Baa (Darling Quarter) and our current home The Pioneer Theatre in Castle Hill since 2018.
With a place for everyone at all skill levels, both on and off the stage, we are proud of our strong history, achievements and sense of community. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are committed to maintaining our reputation for providing quality entertainment in an environment where everyone always feels welcome.
